Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is thinner, brighter, and comes in new colors — but UK pricing is still a mystery
Xiaomi has announced the Smart Band 11, an updated fitness tracker with a brighter AMOLED screen and a slimmer metal chassis — weeks before pricing or availability outside China has been confirmed. The band steps up from the Smart Band 10's 1,500-nit display to a 2,000-nit panel, a meaningful jump for outdoor readability. If you've been eyeing the cheaper Smart Band 11 Active already appearing in UK shops, know that it's a different, budget product with an LCD screen — this is the premium model.
The display and build
The Smart Band 11 carries a 1.72-inch AMOLED panel at 212 × 520 pixels with slim 2mm bezels. Two build variants are on offer: a metal version measuring 9.99mm thick and weighing just 15.58g (without the strap), now available in new pink and green colorways; and a ceramic variant in purple. NFC is an optional add-on on the metal tier.

What it tracks
The band runs HyperOS 4 and works with both Android and iOS. Xiaomi claims improved message sync for iPhone users, though prior Band generations made similar promises with mixed real-world results — independent testing will tell the real story. On the health-tracking side, upgraded heart rate and SpO₂ sensors join support for more than 150 workout modes. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM.

Pricing and availability
In China, the Smart Band 11 starts at around $43 for the standard metal version, rising to roughly $51 with NFC and about $60 for the ceramic model, per Gizmochina. More details are expected at Xiaomi's official event on September 7.
No UK retail date or price has been confirmed. Estimates from iTechGuides put UK pricing in the £40–65 range, but Xiaomi has not announced anything officially. Meanwhile, competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 (around £50, AMOLED) and the Amazfit Band 7 (around £35, AMOLED) are already on shelves. The Smart Band 11 will need to justify its price once it lands — if the AMOLED model makes it to Western markets at all. The budget LCD Active variant is the one currently shipping widely.
